The Hamilton County Outpatient Therapy Program at St. Aloysius is a family-friendly treatment destination for children, teens and families seeking guidance and support to overcome a variety of mental, emotional, social and behavioral challenges. We provide convenient, “one–stop” access to a full range of education, therapy and medication services for youth ages 4 through 18, and youth with developmental disabilities can stay with the program until they are 23. 

Outpatient Therapy Services

Through the use of creative, individualized and strength–based interventions, it is our mission to empower young people and their families with the skills and confidence they need to make positive changes and cope effectively with the inevitable challenges of life. And, as a trauma–responsive agency, we provide a safe

and caring environment for anyone healing from abuse, neglect, violence and loss.

The caring, highly trained therapists, case managers, teachers and physicians at St. Aloysius are dedicated to achieving the highest standards of excellence in professional mental health care.

Requirements

  • Medicaid (Caresource, Molina, Buckeye, Paramount and United Health Care) Commercial Insurance (Medical Mutual)
  • Parents/Guardians are required to be present during intake and treatment team meetings every 90 days

Meeting the Client’s Needs

At St. Aloysius we offer various outpatient services for children and families in Butler County. We currently offer standard Outpatient Therapy services that address a wide array of issues and concerns ranging from social and behavioral struggles to a variety of mental health diagnoses, such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. In addition, we provide trauma focused therapy in both the office and home settings to provide the safety, consistency and support needed for these clients to identify, process, and successfully move on from their traumas.   

Outpatient Therapy Services

Our process begins with assessing and working with the child and guardians to develop the most clinically appropriate course of action. We provide weekly therapy services addressing present concerns and fostering emotional healing. The Outpatient Team coordinates care with the Treatment Team to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Each child receiving Outpatient or In–home Trauma Therapy could be eligible for Case Management, Psychopharmacological, and Integrated Health services. Qualifications for our services are:

  • Mental health diagnosis that meets the medical necessity state requirements to be determined by the intake specialist
  • Medicaid Eligibility*
  • Youth showing difficulty maintaining in the community, home, or school environment, engaging in pro–social communication or managing their mood and/or behavior

All Medicaid eligible clients who have a mental health diagnosis are qualified to receive this service.
